A noninjury accident on Highway 101 involving a tractor rig that was

hauling a large RV trailer blocked southbound lanes for about two hours

Saturday near the Highway 128 exit.

The accident was first reported at 7:23 a.m. and left both the tractor rig

and trailer sideways on the road, blocking the two southbound lanes, said

Capt. Al Delsid of the Cloverdale Fire Protection District.

Delsid said that two tow trucks had to be called in to help remove the

trailer and rig.

He said southbound morning traffic was light and that drivers were

temporarily diverted around the accident through the use of the 128 off-ramp.

The accident was cleared by about 9:45 a.m.
