Lady Loreon’s memory honored
On the south end of Geyserville in the Sculpture Trail lot there sits a chair created by Isis Oasis house artist Miguel Elliott.
Since Lady Loreon Vigne’s passing this sculpture, sponsored by Isis Oasis and Clair Lampson has flowers along the pathway leading to the seat.
A loving memory?
The back of the bench part of the chair is created out of wood pallets, plastic bottles and plastic trash for insulation. The seat of the chair is straw bale covered in cob (sand, clay and straw mix), lime plaster, line-seed oil to seal and iron oxide colors.
This sculpture was created by Miguel Elliott of Living Earth Structures at Isis Oasis. More of Elliott’s sculptures can be seen on the Isis Oasis property.
