Dry Creek Peach and Produce shares spring with visitors
“It is a quiet time in the orchard, as the trees take their much needed winter break and we prepare for the upcoming harvest, said Gayle Okumura Sullivan, owner and CPO (chief peach operator).
New trees have been planted this season, all wonderful varieties, and the pruning is done. The cover crop continues to grow and the orchard looks solid.
Blossom typically begins at the end of this month, and it is truly a stunning time at the farm, and is in full swing in March. Grafting will begin once bloom sets in.
