The List: Four places to stay local on Valentine’s Day

Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 | Posted by | 2 responses

If you haven’t cemented your plans for Valentine’s Day, consider keeping it local in the Ville.

1) Wake up to coffee and breakfast at Geyserville Mud Coffee 21001 Geyserville Ave. Enjoy pastries from Costeaux Bakery, choose among breakfast specialities and look for a heart in the foam of your latte, all served up by owner Valarie Blanchard.

2) Want a full breakfast? Stroll down to the Hoffman House, 21001 Geyserville Ave. Woke up late? Don’t worry. They serve lunch as well.

3) Dino Bugica has planned a special three-course tasting menu for Valentine’s Day dinner at Diavola, 21021 Geyserville Ave. Cost is $60, reservations are recommended. diavola.com or 814-0111.

4) Yes, Dominica Catelli rolls her lasagna sheets thin enough to see your Valentine through, although you are better off leaving it on your plate. As chef and co-owner of Catelli’s,  21047 Geyserville Ave., she is in the process of designing a Valentine Day menu. For reservations or information, call 857-3471.

  1. Yummy. So many great places to eat in our little town. We are so fortunate.

  2. Don’t forget to pop into Bosworth’s. A trip to Geyserville isn’t complete without stopping in for a little something! A nice, long stroll through town to see the sculptures and galleries is a surpise for such a little town, too.
