Last tour of the Geysers is Friday
The last tour of the season to the Geysers is at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26.
Learn about renewable geothermal power while touring the Geysers. In the Mayacamas Mountains, naturally occurring steam field reservoirs below the Earth’s surface are being harnessed by Calpine to make clean, green, renewable energy for homes and businesses across Northern California.
The Geysers is the world’s largest geothermal plant complex, covering 45 square miles along the Sonoma and Lake County border. Calpine owns the Geysers.
The tour will leave from Calpine’s Geothermal Visitor Center in Middletown. Visit geysers.com for more information.
