Children of all ages are invited to the Cloverdale Library, 401 N. Cloverdale Blvd., at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, for the Magic Circus Wizard Halloween Show. This free show will feature interactive magic with a humorous touch.

Magic Circus is a Marin County-based educational and entertainment theater company that strives to demonstrate how theater can be used to improve the quality of education and build imagination, as well as foster self-esteem and team spirit.

The following day, Thursday, Oct. 25, the Friends of the Cloverdale Library are sponsoring a Teen Pumpkin Carving Contest for ages 12 to 18 starting at 3 p.m.

Contestants will have one hour to clean and carve their pumpkin, and library users will vote for their favorites throughout the week. Prizes will be awarded for the top three pumpkins.

Bring your creativity and carving ideas. The library will provide the pumpkins and the carving tools. No registration required.

For more information about either of these events, call the Library at 894-5271.
