Be part of the conversation about positive aging
We are all aware of the seniors around us, parents, neighbors and friends. While many will never need the services the Council on Aging provides, many will.
The Council on Aging’s latest project, Collaborative on Positive Aging, is hosting a series of discussion groups in Cloverdale beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11. These groups are open to all ages and will focus on “Shaping Our Futures: Positive Aging in Sonoma County.”
Through these discussions, the council will develop strategies to support positive aging in Sonoma County. Meeting dates, times and locations are:
Tuesday, Sept. 11 – Noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26 – 5 to 6:30 p.m., Chamber of Commerce, Conference Room, 126 N. Cloverdale Boulevard
Thursday, Oct. 11 – 7 to 8:30 p.m., Edward Jones, Conference Room, 231 N. Cloverdale Boulevard
Monday, Oct. 22 – 1 to 2:30 p.m., Cloverdale Senior Center. Craft Room, 311 N. Main St.
For those unable to attend any of the scheduled discussion groups, a survey is available online.
