Between raindrops, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ played on

Coppola family enjoys Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet

Coppolas enjoy the play.

Saturday night, actors in street clothes took on the many roles in “Romeo & Juliet” at Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Geyserville.

A rain shower caused guests to cover up, but it stopped quickly. As good as the actors were, the beauty of the sky at dusk made the love story that much more real.

The open-air play continues Aug. 10-12, with the outdoor bar open into the evening to enjoy the sunset. More information is available at rjatffcw.eventbrite.com.

A block of tickets will be made available each day of the performance. Check in with the concierge for availability.
