Catching up with the Geyserville Strike Team

Strike team 2379C, including the Geyserville engine, was assigned to the Rush Fire for 24 hours on Saturday, Aug. 18. Sunday they had a 24-hour rest period, during which GFPD sent up a fresh crew to replace all but Captain Mack Montanye, who is staying with the engine. The new crew consists of firefighters Andrew Wallace, Daren Stroud and Nick Migneron. Lt. Jose Carrillo and FF Bret Thatcher are coming home after a week of service.
