Geyserville Strike Team still in Lake County

Fire Chief Paul Pigoni gives Geyserville an update on the Strike Team that has been fighting the Wye Fire in Lake County since Sunday, Aug. 12:

“Yesterday, the crew had been assigned back to the fire to patrol and mop up hot spots along Hwy. 20 in Divisions X, Y and Z. They will be committed on the fire line for 24 hours and today (Friday) should be a rest day.”
