Geyserville School Board holds a public hearing Aug. 29
The Geyserville School Board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, to discuss the option of contracting with Healdsburg High School to educate all Geyserville students in grades 9-12. The meeting, open to the public, will be held at Ed Park Open Area.
In fall 2011, the Sonoma County Office of Education asked Geyserville to participate in a study of different options for Geyserville High School to save money during the budget crisis.
The Healdsburg contract is one of several options being considered by the school board, which will vote on this option at the end of the meeting.
The Board will vote on the option to contract with Healdsburg High School at the end of the meeting.
