Wags, Whiskers & Wine is Friday, Aug. 17
Wags, Whiskers & Wine, benefiting the Sonoma Humane Society, will take place 6-10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at Trentadue Winery, 19170 Geyserville Ave. This year’s Master of Ceremonies is Supervisor Efren Carrillo.
Enjoy wine and brews, gourmet dinner and desserts, all while listening to live music, and don’t forget to visit the puppy, kitten and bunny mooch booth.
Last year’s event, also held at Trentadue Winery, raised more than $160,000, funds are used to support the medical needs of sick and injured homeless animals who arrive at the Sonoma Humane Society, 5345 Hwy. 12 West, Santa Rosa.
The Sonoma Humane Society does not benefit from state or government tax dollars, nor are they supported by national organizations. They are locally funded, and this is the largest fundraiser of the year. The organization has been recognized for keeping fund-raising and administrative costs to a minimum, devoting 81 cents of every dollar directly to the animals’ care.
Tickets are $150 at sonomahumane.org.
