A number of conflicting nearby events on the same date resulted in too few participants to move forward.

Disappointing but life goes on.
“A number of conflicting nearby events” – and people think folks like us who choose to live in a more rural area have absolutely nothing to do. Honestly! It’s just the opposite. I’ve always believed people who live around here and say they’re bored must really have to work at it.
