“Notes on a Life” follows 30 years of Coppola’s life as she juggled raising children and being there for Francis as he directed films, requiring the family to make frequent moves. It  consists of short passages from each day, beginning with the death of her oldest son Gian-Carlo Coppola at age 22 and the birth of granddaughter Gia just months later.

Space is limited. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at (707) 857-1488 or  franciscoppolawinery.com.

Eleanor Coppola  is an American documentary filmmaker, artist and writer. She is most known for her 1991 documentary film ”Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse,” and has written documentaries chronicling the films of her husband and children.
