Bookmobile coming May 22
The Free Bookmobile of Sonoma County is coming to the Geyserville Visitors parking lot Tuesday, May 22, 5:30-7 p.m. It also has a thriving Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/freebookmobile. Not to be confused with the Sonoma County Library, the Free Bookmobile of Sonoma County does not require a library card, and it’s always free. The Bookmobile will take donations on site of a bag or two. More than that can be taken to the Northern County donation center at the UPS Store in Windsor, near Safeway. Cash donations are always welcome. A gentleman in Geyserville has offered to double all on-site cash donations. Yes, they’re tax deductible.
The bookmobile is a gentle reminder that reading a good book feeds the soul.
My son has requested I read Will Eisner’s, The Contract With God Trilogy, and I was gifted, The History of Love by Nicole Krauss. I have just started sinking my teeth into The History of Love, this one, and it has kept me up later than I like.
