Friends of Alexander Valley Hall celebrate Cinco de Mayo
The citizens of Alexander Valley originally built the Hall in 1923 to be used as a community meeting place, as well as a location for parties, dances and the celebrations of life. Over the decades, it became the spot where milestones were commemorated and memories were made. In 1997 the citizens of Alexander Valley came together once again to renovate and lovingly refurbish the bucolic hall in the middle of the vineyards.
Enjoy an evening of fun, food and wine Saturday, May 5, at the Alexander Valley Hall’s Maine Lobster Bake and Party. Huge copper cauldrons will be set up on the tables and filled to the brim with the main dish, artichokes, onions, potatoes and more. An array of local wines will complete the meal.
The 21 and over event will be held 5:30-9 p.m. May 5 at the Alexander Valley Hall, 5512 Highway 128, Geyserville. Tickets are $75 at www.brownpapertickets.com.
